Hello, I'm Arwen

I've loved picture books since I was small enough to read them under the covers with a flashlight. Today I paint them: warm watercolor worlds full of foxes, owls and very determined turtles.

I believe a good illustration should feel like a hug and a secret at the same time. When I'm not painting, you'll find me collecting stories, sharing tea, and loving every tale that begins with "once upon a time."
